Saturn Is Moving Into Libra In November, 2009

Pluto has now gone direct at 0 Capricorn, and Saturn will soon move into Libra (Nov., 2009). This is the ‘one-two’ punch of 3 planets that will all be in early degrees of cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn by early Summer of 2010. The 3rd planet, Uranus, will enter Aries for a short period in May-June, 2010, and then permanently by March, 2011. The primary influence of these transits will be one of restrictions, upheaval, and surprising change. The Venus and Jupiter in the USA chart are being influenced by these ‘heavy’ transits, denoting many of the areas being affected are financial in nature. These influences are active now, and will continue to be through 2010 (and beyond).

What can we expect? Continuing cutbacks, closures, and a tight financial picture are certainly on the list. Pluto has already been producing this for almost a year now as it has activated the USA Venus, but with Saturn entering the picture we will see some increasing dissatisfaction with how things are being run in the country, and more dissent among the masses. Fear and uncertainty about the future are side effects of this energy, so it’s important to draw on your spiritual beliefs and trust in your inner guidance. Often the media add to the anxiety or fear produced at this period of time, so quit watching and listening if you find yourself buying into all the negativity now. These are difficult times, but not because the world is coming to an end. In fact, the world in undergoing a massive ‘clean-up’, and we’re at that phase of it where it looks overwhelming and we’re questioning ourselves. It is going to get better, but this current ‘pruning’ is an ugly thing to watch. Don’t add to it by expecting doom and gloom.

Increasingly as Saturn continues through Libra it makes contacts to the numerous planets in Cancer in the USA chart, indicating a growing demand for more integrity and responsibility in those who lead us, whether it is a boss, a corporation, politicians, or religious leaders. This will not be a quick change, but this time shows the beginning of a phase of correction in what we will accept in those who lead us. Additionally, as Pluto moves closer to the opposition to the USA Jupiter, it is likely that some information will be revealed that will cause a major disappointment in leaders. Whatever this revelation is, the credibility of those involved will be seriously damaged. Again, we are learning to trust our own inner guidance, and not to accept or believe that someone else--even a leader--has our answers. Decide who you want to be and follow that path.

This potentially slows down a hoped for economic recovery, a response to some fear-based information or a feeling of disillusionment with how the system is working. Saturn shows all ‘support systems’ being stretched to their economic limits. This is kicked off at this point by another interaction of the opposition between Saturn and Uranus through the end of November, highlighting 2 opposing points of view, a polarization on many topics, and a general ‘us and them’ attitude in the country. The last time these 2 planets opposed each other was in October, November 2009, just before the election. See any similarities between now and then? Take election out of the picture, insert health care in.

The important thing to remember with all the changes and high activity going on now is that Source Energy guides us, that we are loved beyond measure, and that we have indeed changed the direction of our world. It’s a good time to be alive!
